Julian M. White –Founder of I BEAT That Empowerment Movement (IBT)A Journey from Pain to PurposeJulian M. White is the compassionate founder and visionary behind I Beat That Empowerment Movement (IBT) — a movement dedicated to empowering youth through prevention awareness, self-love, and emotional healing. But the roots of IBT were planted in some of the most challenging seasons of Julian’s life — a journey marked by courage, loss, and unwavering faith.
Julian’s story began with a battle she never expected: a cancer diagnosis that tested her strength and her faith. During her treatment, she learned what it truly meant to fight — not just for survival, but for purpose.
Through the pain, she discovered a renewed sense of gratitude for life and a desire to use her story to uplift others. While recovering, Julian also stepped into one of the most sacred roles of her life — caring for her beloved mother during her own health battle. Julian’s mother, a pillar of love, wisdom, and faith, became her inspiration and motivation to keep going. When her mother passed away in October 2024, Julian faced another deep valley of grief. Yet, in honoring her mother’s legacy of compassion and resilience, she found renewed purpose.
Out of her pain, I Beat That Empowerment Movement (IBT) was born. Julian realized that just as she had fought for her healing and walked beside her mother through hers, there were countless others silently fighting battles of their own — with self-doubt, peer pressure, and the temptations that come from feeling unseen or unloved. She wanted to reach them before they reached a breaking point.
Through IBT, Julian channels her journey into programs that teach prevention, self-awareness, and the power of positive choices. Her workshops blend honesty, encouragement, and community connection — offering youth and other cancer patients and survivors a safe space to express themselves and discover their worth.
